Everyday Adventures: Kayaking for Young Adults (Milwaukee) Location: Veterans Memorial Park in Grafton (13th Ave, Grafton, WI 53024)

Join us for a relaxing 2 mile paddle on the Milwaukee River starting in Grafton! Kayak by blue herons searching for their next meal and look through the clear, tannic water to find fish swimming below. No experience? No problem! The awesome staff from Riveredge Nature Center will have you paddling like a pro in no time! They'll provide kayaks, paddles, and life jackets. Space is limited to 10 participants and registration is required! 

*Arrive at 5:30 to have an optional short picnic dinner before we get out on the water (bring a sandwich and we'll provide beverages + sides). Otherwise arrive by 5:50pm so you can complete paperwork and get started on time at 6pm!

*Rain date is Weds, July 10th.

Who:

  • This event is for young adults (ages 18-45) that have been diagnosed with cancer before age 40—any stage, any cancer, anywhere in your cancer experience.
