Finding Your Foundation: Mastering Balance and Mobility PART 2
Location:
7907 UW Health Ct., Middleton
Description for workshop 2: In the second part of this two-part series designed by Doctor of Physical Therapy students from UW-Madison, we will reassess the key measures of physical function including the Timed Up and Go (TUG), 30-Second Chair Stand, Grip Strength, and 4-Stage Balance Test. If you were not available to come to the first workshop, we still encourage you to come! This session will give you valuable insights into your progress (or initial assessment if its your first workshop) and help reinforce the importance of consistent exercise. Following the assessment, we will provide you with a home exercise program specifically designed to address any lingering deficits in strength and balance, giving you the practical tools needed to continue your journey toward improved mobility, independence, and fall prevention. Time permitting, there will also be a Q&A session with student physical therapists to address your specific concerns.
