About the Presenter: Justin Studler, PhD

I am currently a post-doctoral Health Psychology Fellow in the Health Psychology Department at the University of Wisconsin - Madison Hospital and Clinics. I graduated from Ball State University with my PhD in Counseling Psychology in December of 2023, after having graduated from the same institution in Fall 2019 with my master's degree in Sport & Exercise Psychology and a minor in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I completed my Internship Residency in Health Psychology at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, Wisconsin prior to coming to UW-Madison for my Fellowship. Throughout my practicum, Internship, and Fellowship training experiences, I have worked with cancer patients in both the inpatient and outpatient setting for both short- and long-term therapy. I have worked with individuals diagnosed with a multitude of cancers in a variety of positions (e.g., initial diagnosis, treatment, recovery, end-of-life care, etc.) throughout their cancer journey. I consider myself immensely fortunate to work with this population as I have learned a great deal and built many meaningful relationships.
